Last week Rabbi Josh spoke about Avraham’s wells that were filled in, and then re-dug by Isaac. In his dvar he made the connection of re-digging wells as a metaphor for engaging with our own spiritual practices.
This week, in the dvar, we’ll see how Jacob gives us the opportunity to engage with spiritual development, and the practice of radical amazement ba’makom ha’zeh– in this place, and hence this time, this moment. In other words, we’ll look at what comes up for us from moment to moment, regardless of place, and how Jewish practices might offer us another way to be present to the “awesome-ness” (that which is “nora“/ awesome) of every moment and every place.
We look forward to your joining us on this journey tomorrow.
